Set up Resource Formats

Resource formats can be used to identify different types of books in the library. For example, to distinguish hardback books, paperback books, magazines or DVDs. With these resource formats set up, the librarian can also set up advanced loan limits for particular resource formats.

Tasks

  • In the Catalogue, edit a couple of the books to allocate them a new book format
  • In Set Up Resource Formats, allocate the format you created in the previous task to a new resource type
  • Bulk edit a book format to set it to something else
