Libresoft Librarian now supports Single Sign On (SSO) options. These are:
- Google SSO
- Microsoft SSO
- Wonde SSO
If a school has SSO activated, individual student and staff users can log into the library system with a click of a button, using their usual Google or Microsoft credentials. They won’t need to enter the conventional login details (barcode and password). It is worth noting that Librarians still need to log in using the Librarian login button and will still be required to enter their username (or email) and password.
Single Sign On is not added to a library site by default. Schools have to request this feature. There is no additional charge to activate this feature but schools may have to adjust their Information Sharing Agreement with us. The Libresoft support team activates SSO once this has been done. SSO settings can be seen on the Library Settings page (Settings > Library Settings) once activated.
