Add New Books

There are a number of ways to add new books to the system.

Option 1: Scan the physical copies of the books. This is a straightforward process.

Read the Customer Help Guide on Add New Books.

Note: Libresoft Librarian searches freely available data sources to avoid any copyright issues. The system will always try to find as much data as it can on any scanned book, but the availability of data will vary. Basic information that SHOULD come through include the book image, title and author. It is possible to improve the book data by using the Search Books Details button.

Option 2: Bulk add books in one step using a data file (CSV or UKM) that contains all the required book details.

Read the Customer Help Guide on Bulk Adding Books.
